GTA 6 editions
GTA 6 comes in two editions: Standard ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99), both released November 19, 2026. Every pre-order of either edition also gets the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Ultimate Edition — what Rockstar says
Officially confirmedRockstar's official description: "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story". Unusually, the bonuses are framed as woven through the single-player campaign — not the online-mode currency bundles of the GTA V era.
Ultimate Edition contents
Officially confirmedVerified against Rockstar's own promotional media (the official GTA VI media library publishes a screenshot set per item). The named contents: a '95 Grotti Cheetah, a Vapid buggy, the Shitzu Squalo boat and additional safehouse vehicles; Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers and further exclusive weapon variants; the Vice City Style and Goodtime Gear cosmetic packs; a Vapid Ganado retro build kit and the Wyman car collection; and in-story businesses and stores — Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie's, Sara's Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang, and the PTT store. Prices per item and exact unlock mechanics get documented at launch.
Vintage Vice City Pack (all pre-orders)
Officially confirmedIncluded with every pre-order and any purchase before November 20, regardless of edition — "a collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest". Rockstar's media set shows a '55 Vapid Stanier plus exclusive retro looks, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia.
Is the Ultimate Edition worth $20 more?
The honest answer pre-release: it depends on whether the single-player extras matter to you, because — unlike RDR2's Ultimate Edition, which leaned heavily on online bonuses — GTA 6's premium tier is pitched at the story campaign itself. Extra vehicles, shops and side content threaded through an experience Rockstar itself calls single-player is a different value proposition than a currency bundle. We'll re-assess once the full contents are store-verified and, post-launch, once it's clear how substantial the exclusive side content actually is.
